Truck & Bus Washes

3-Brush - Truck & Bus Wash Systems

christ-3brush.jpgWith the CHRIST Truck & Bus Wash Unit, you will finally be able to carefully wash your own vehicle fleet. All desired vehicle programs can be chosen from an operation panel (e.g. Passenger Car, Bus, Truck + Trailer). As optional equipment, CHRIST offers the proven aggregate for the under-chassis wash, a high-pressure wash device for superstructures and a water recycling unit.

Two adjustable metering pumps ensure an economic application of chemicals. In accordance with the washing cycle the pumps supply a detergent and drying aid to the water to be applied to the vehicle directly.

The electronically controlled roof brush is able to handle irregular surfaces and washes the vehicle from bumper to bumper. The two side brushes at the front and rear of the vehicle create a centred overlapping wash action eliminating the vertical dirt strip left by other systems.

christ-3brush2.jpgThe CHRIST Truck & Bus Wash Unit is a self-driven, fully automatic roll-over wash unit. The electronic SPC controls the roof and side brushes, ensuring the exact pressure required to give each vehicle the most precise wash. A special hitch safety device eliminates any physical contact between the brushes and the trailer hitch coupling. The complete electric switchgear and the SPC Control, the "brain" of the unit, are stored technically 100% safe in the roll-over’s side piece - space-saving and maintenance friendly.

The Truck & Bus Wash Unit from CHRIST can be operated using recycled water, playing an active role in preserving our environment and serves to help cut costs. Fresh water is used during the return wash cycle to improve water quality and to replenish water lost by evaporation and general usage.

5-Brush - Truck & Bus Wash Systems

5brush.jpg Clean vehicles ensure a perfect visual image and a corresponding high-profile image. Companies using their own vehicle fleet, i.e. industrial manufacturing and transportation arms have purchased their own Christ vehicle wash units firstly to keep a high profile identity and secondly to resolve the economic of high volume washing as far as time and labour are concerned.

The positioning light switches to green and the driver pulls forward (max. speed approx. 12 m/min) whilst the 4 lateral brushes wash the sides and the horizontal brush the roof. The movement of vehicles is monitored by means of infra-red photo electric cells. Once the vehicle has passed through the washing unit, another red-light instructs the driver when to stop. The wash unit starts to move in the reverse direction and depending on the chosen program the roof brush may wash the rear in one downwards and one upwards movement before the two rear side brushes execute the centre cross-over wash on the vehicle’s back end.

christ-5brush.jpgThe green light indicates to the driver when the washing cycle is completed and the vehicle is free to be moved out from the wash bay. The vehicle having left the wash unit returns to its starting position, available for the next vehicle to be washed. The electronically controlled roof brush also overcomes irregular superstructures. The complete electric switchgear and the SPC Control, the "brain" of the unit, are stored technically 100% safe in the roll-over’s side piece, space-saving and maintenance friendly.
