    Primus Rollover Automatic

primus1.jpgPrimus from Christ is the best-selling roll-over wash unit, and has proved itself successful in all areas, technically, as well as, optically.  It is a powerful combination of designer looks and advance technology that can be configured to your specific requirements for self service, retail and fleet operations.

The Primus features the patented automatic jointed brush system which enables the brushes to snuggle around the sides of modern shaped car designs ensuring superior cleaning versus convention brush systems. The super soft brushes are electronically controlled to ensure constant, but soft contact with the surface of the car. The centre crossover actions of the side brushes ensure that the brushes cross over at the front and rear of the vehicle to completely remove all traces of road grime.

primus2.jpgThe standard Primus machine will wash vehicles up to 2.25 metres in height thus enabling vans and utility wagons as well as passenger cars to be washed.

The primus also features contour drying technology. In optimising drying, the side jets (available as an upgrade option) ensures that the air stream reaches the vehicle’s contour’s every angle; even the so called problem zones, e.g. mirrors and side skirts, are reached. Through the ergonomically formed jets, even small vans receive an optimal drying.

The Primus is available as a standard model or with a comprehensive range of upgrade and added upgrade options that include hot foam prewash, hot wax application, wheel wash unit, high pressure under-body wash, high pressure washing capability.

primus3.jpgIn the car wash business, it is sometimes simply necessary to be able to work beyond the limit of capacity without having to build a substantially larger system. Naturally, time must be saved without affecting the quality of washing and drying. Christ carries out this balancing act by separating the drying section from the washing section, so saving an operation when drying.

Christ calls this successful formula 1 + 1, which represents the experience and competence derived from 25 years of building car wash systems - naturally aimed towards success for the operator. All of this can be achieved if, like Christ, you don’t just assemble, but carry out development and construction from the bottom up in-house. Christ builds it’s own motors, electronics, fabricates sheet metal and plastics, naturally does it’s own painting. Only in this way can the sheer quality of Christ be guaranteed and thoroughly structured production lines be offered.

And only this combination guarantees the logical continuing development and the sensible improvements in detail to results such as the new Primus 1 + 1. Increases in capacity can only be achieved by shortening the time cycle if the standard 10 m length of the car wash is to be maintained. The key to success in design is the new Christ high-power dryer, which is accommodated in it'’ own portal, with a power of 4 x 5.5 kW. Typical Christ quality, engineering and design are unaffected by this ’separation’, of course. All technical features, all improvements and developments of the basic Christ model apply 100% to the 1 + 1. At the start of the wash, this drying portal moves to it’s waiting position at the entry of the car wash, while the main portal carries out the input program functions. During the last operation, the drying portal follows a short distance behind and returns to it’s starting position.
